It is expected to be a platform that will bring together various actors along the agricultural food system to discuss topical issues affecting agricultural development in Nigeria as well as the sub-region. The obvious disconnect between the town and the gown has overtime led to poor policy formulation and implementation, creating evident problems in the agricultural policy design process, from the formulation to implementation as well as evaluation.
