From the global impact of the COVID-19 pandemic to implications of geopolitical events like the Russia-Ukraine war, African nations are at the forefront of crafting adaptive strategies.
PiLAF’s Brown Bag Series is an effort of the Innovation Lab for Policy Leadership in Agriculture and Food Security (PiLAF) in bridging the gap between researchers and policy makers. It is expected to be a platform that will bring together various actors along the agricultural food system to discuss topical issues affecting agricultural development in Nigeria as well as the sub-region. The obvious disconnect between the town and the gown has overtime led to poor policy formulation and implementation, creating evident problems in the agricultural policy design process, from the formulation to implementation as well as evaluation.
